Hello world!

About a year and a half ago I left the Catholic faith and became a United Methodist.

Hence the name of the blog – thecatholicdropout.

My purpose with this blog is to document observations and
enlightening moments that I’ve had on my Christian journey.
I did not make the change in haste or without sincere and thoughtful
consideration.

This site is not intended to demean or attack any
denomination of faith, but to give personal insight to others on my ongoing
journey of faith and the lessons learned along the way.

It is also meant to share with others in similar situations or considering a change, the message the Holy Spirit is giving us along the way.

It is my intent to begin publishing on a weekly basis and
eventually increase publication as time permits.
